Why can't they leave President Obama alone!! He is more American that some of his naysayers. Where is Sarah Palin from? Who taught her manners? Who educated her in History? It has been a while

Already, the Republicans are lining up against President Obama and he hasn't even issued a list of possible nominees for Supreme Court Justice. And Glen Beck spent a TV show calling President Obama a Marxist to a willing college class( all white). "Sound and fury" that is telling the wrong story to a group of disgruntled people. The good thing is that God put Mr. Obama into that office and only God can remove him. He will make his enemies (Beck, Rush, Palin, and McCain) his foot stool. What is Mr McCain trying to do? He would not have made a better president. He is acting like a spoiled child. And, Sarah Palin is more of a lose cannon than Joe Biden is.
I am looking for substance not just words.say something. Give valid alternatives if you have better plan. Let the people hear it.

Tiger Woods

In John 8, they brought a woman whom they said was in the act of committing adultery to Jesus. The punishment was supposed to be stoning. He sat down and begin to write in the sand. Bishop Eddie Long said that he was probably writing their names in the sand. Then he said "He who is without sin,let him cast the first stone." Slowly, the accusers began to walk away until when Jesus got up, they were all gone. He then told her to go and sin no more. Then in Romans and other chapters in the Bible, he tells us not to judge others. But we seem to forget the Biblical teachings when it comes to scandals of other people. We can see their sins, but we can't see our own. We think our children can do no wrong in school. We think when we talk on the cell phone while driving, that it's all right. When we take stuff home from our jobs, it is not stealing. When we cheat on our taxes, it's all right. Sins have to do with lying, cheating, stealing and killing. NOT ONLY! Please open that Bible and go to Bible Study and learn abour sin so that we can stop condemning Tiger Woods, John Edwards, Michael Vick, Michael Jordan, Michael Jackson,etc. If God can forgive them, who are we to stand or sit in judgement. The lead story on most news programs this morning was Tiger Woods. And, they were upset because he will not answer their questions. Whoare they?
We've got no health insurance and no confidence in Congress. We are involved in two wars,. Iran has nuclear capabilities. Locally, we have streets that have not been plowed. A man supposedly threw his baby daughter off a bridge. Let Tiger handled his own business

Birthdays

When they failed to acknowledge February birthdays at church yesterday, I suddenly realized that your birthday is only important to you. I can't remember that far back, but I must have had some good birthdays.I had a party when I was 15 and that was fun. I gave myself a party at my apartment and that was fun. My 50th was fun and my classmates made my 60th special. So, why did I feel so bad yesterday. I sank so deep into depression. Well, Valentine's Day is always depressing for me. and, I guess I was projecting that my birthday will be the same. Isn't it sad. I have never had a special love for Valentine's Day. I've got to stop. This remembering is getting to me.

Let it Snow!

I have lost count.23 in some areas and 30 inches in others. Suffice it to say that this winter has ruined any budget that I had. $60 for this last storm. However,the young men did a wonderful job. And, I have been safely kept in this warm environment. I don't want for anything. Another Valentine's Day is coming. Another lonely Valentine's Day is coming. I have never had a day like I see in the movies or on TV or that I have read about. SO, I buy my own baloon. I can't eat too much chocolate,so I wait until after the day and get some on sale. I am not as sad as I used to be. I will get through it. I always do. I always do.

Super Bowl

The Super Bowl is here and I am not watching. I want New Orleans to win, because it would be so good for the Gulf Coast's moral. Both of the teams are classy.
Now, what exactly is Sarah Palin saying? Has she offered anything but empty rhetoric? what are her policies? she paraded her pregnant unmarried teenage daughter during her campaign. They had sex in her house. Does she still not read the important newspapers each day or even go on line to find out what is going on in the world daily? And how can she talk about taxes when she hasn't paid her own real estate taxes? What is wrong with this picture?
Snow, snow go away. Come again another day. When we were little we used to sing that. Then I could shovel it. Now, I need help. 23 inches this weekend and more coming on Tuesday. I thank God that I have food and warm shelter. I thank God for my next door neighbor who has a snow blower and does all of the walkways around here. I just thank God.

IT's been a while

We have had two Blizzards. My car did not pass first inspection. And, my toes have given me pause to curse the insurance system(or lack of). But I am still here. My car passed inspection. I needed brake fluid. My bills were manageable,because I stopped worrying about them and gave them over to God. I really have had nothing about which to complain. We had to cancel a trip to New Brunswick today, because the snow is fierce. It looks beautiful, but the wind gust is 40 miles per hour. Some people stayed overnight, but I was going to drive two ladies up today. So God spoke and I listened.

Things

Dear Lord,please stay by President Obama's side. He is facing the devil's crew on the radio and in Congress. But I know you did not elect him to see him fail. The Health Care initiative has to be re-vamped, so I still won't have any health insurance, but he tried. He tried too many things in his first year. He didn't realize that those "old, old attituded politicians" were deeply rooted and weren't about to change. Just be with him. The enemy is not outside the US. It's right there in Congressand in the Media.

Leave him alone!

Media,leave Tiger Woods alone.If he is indeed at a Clinic,it's none of your business.It is his wife's and his business. What's wrong, John Edwards is just not important enough for you? Or is his crime is so usual in your world that you just don't care? Denying the paternity publicly isn't cruel enough to that baby. You would rather focus on Tiger. I hope he continues to elude everyone but his family. It is really none of your business.

The President is trying. I still need health insurance, but for some reason, the Republicans,who have theirs,don't think so. Get off your brains. This is a wealthy nation and its people, all of us, should have medical attention when needed.

God is so good.

I thought that I had a lot to say, but I don't. I was ill yesterday, but today,I have recovered some what. However, my inspration,Yvonne Dubose,is in a nursing home in Virginia Beach. She has been in 4th stage cancer for at least four years, but you wouldn't have known it. She always looked marvelous. And dressed to impress. SO,today, I am thinking about her and Rita Boardley. God,please take care of them. What they are going through makes my aches and pains seem so minute. Make them comfortable and let your will be done in their lives.

Haiti

Pat Robertson said that Haiti is reaping some sort of curse. Rush Limbaugh says not to send any money to Haiti, because President Obama has given them too much of our tax money.THANK GOD THEY DON'T HOLD ANY OFFICE and I pray that their followers wise up. To see that abject poverty before and to look at the devastation now is enough to make us get on our knees and come up giving everything we have to help. If these are the last days, Pat and Limbaugh had better decide what they are going to tell Jesus when they, if they see him in judgement.

Hello

I am not angry about the Eagles. While I wanted them to win and I prayed that they would win(really), I did not have enough confidence in them to buy a hat or a jersey. What was missing was an overt faith(that Reggie White faith)that should have been shown in their practices and their walk. I am not saying that Jerry Jones shows any kind of religious integrity, but something inate is there and not here. So it's time to clean out lockers for good. Westbrook needs to decide if he is coming back. Which is more important, his health or a try at a Super bowl ring. I think we traded away our "heart' and overlooked a few things that could have been done( McNabb could have run a lot more). Enough! Go to your several homes. Play with your children and get re-acquainted with your family. Go to Church. Spring camp is coming. Another year is over. Maybe in this case, God's time is really not the Eagles' time.

Sticks and stones. . .but words do hurt!

What to do first--fuss because the Eagles did not show up in Dallas or fuss because Senator Reid was quoted saying what a lot of Caucasians said in the election( He does not speak like those other African-Americans and he is light-skinned.)
Okay, Reid said what people have been saying for centuries. Our education distances us from others in our race. Skin color does matter. The Lighter we are, the better our job chances are. Blacks have known that for years. Within our own race, Darker skinned Blacks in the south put down the lighter skinned ones( and vice versa) As far back as slavery, the skin color was a determining factor. The only thing was/is that no one said it out loud. Jimmy the Greek(CBS) was fired for saying that we were bred to run faster. Will Reid be chastised? He apologozed to the President. Now, Mr. President, you do know who your true friends really are.
Fuuny thing about apologies. The words are out there. The pain has been inflicted. You cannot take the words back. And, when the words are said, they are meant. So, I am still hurt by what you said and I will continue to be hurt until the real pain goes away.

Nothing Much

I thought that I had a solution. I would check myself into the hospital to have all of the tests taken( MRI, bloodtests, vascular testing, etc.) I thought that Medicare A would cover that. BUT, my doctors are paid by Medicare B, which I don't have. So,it's been since June. My sciatica, my toes, some medicines, my blood pressure, my heart doctor--those I haven't had or seen about or seen. I am just barely hanging on. Barely. Sometimes, the pains get a bit much and I take every pain killer I have. They work or they don't work. Health Care won't be for me. I will probably be beyond help. At this point I really couldn't say that I would vote for any NJ politician. Sam Cooke said "it's been too hard living, but I am afraid to die." I am not afraid of Heaven(assuming that I am going), I am afraid of leaving all of my debt here. Iwant those doctors know that if they had taken care of me, I would probably have lived longer

The New Year

Well, I was sick during Watchnight Services. I stayed for the sermon, "Jesus is the same yesterday, today and tomorow," and came home. I didn't even eat anything. I was sick all night. I hope that this isn't a precursor of things to come. I am still searching for something. I don't know what, but it is out there. I start to write, but I lose interest. There is no one to read my writings anyway. I am just rambling. I am all right.
